From the plot twists that defy both logic and basic physics to totally unearned moments of redemption, it’s just all so much noise. (And, since the hour ends with what appears to be the aliens getting nuked, who even knows where the season finale is headed next week.)įor the first time in its run, Invasion actually makes some surprising narrative decisions, but the emotional beats the show clearly expects to land don’t because none of us care about these characters in any way. People even die! But it all just feels like too little too late.
The show genuinely makes some bold choices. I can't wait for season 3.On the plus side, Invasion Season 1 Episode 9, “Full of Stars,” contains the most action of any episode in the series to date. This show is 100% amazing and always helps me to see that I am not the only one going through a certain situation. (: Nikki and Jill as well as, Kaci and Cory, I really admire the four of you.
You guys have had a huge impact on my life. Because of Romi I see that there is no need to have this negative energy in my life and yet it was hard for her to see Kelsey go. That's exactly how it was/is with my partner and I. Romi being the bread winner and Kelsey being the Mooch who doesn't have a job. And we are young so I relate to the show. Then I got laid off and have been struggling since and now she uses it to her advantage. I am a work aholic and I have a partner who does not really understand that. I was able to relate a lot to some of the characters.
I was even more intrigued to watch it because these were real Lesbians living their lives. Then the show "The Real L Word" came out. I was very interested in the show "The L Word" because it helped me see and determine that things I like and things I know little about are ohkay, and it actually taught me more. I have been watching the show since it was first aired.
